Mellow May
We continue to enjoy generally mild Autumn weather. This helped our guests relax at our end of April Autumn Celebration with Cobb’s Cubano spit roast sandwiches selling out and lots of toasting marshmallows around the fire pit later in the afternoon. Thank you to all who visited, including local talented musical performer Indy.

The weather appears to be fine for Mother’s Day weekend, and we have our revised platter menu available. This includes new gourmet Chicken Leek and White Wine Pie, Beef Mushroom and Red Wine Pie and Vegetable Quiche. Plus a special treat for Mums could be our new dessert platter of Apple Cherry Tart, White Chocolate Raspberry Brownie, Double Chocolate Brownie, Baiser Nutty Meringue, Belgian Chocolate and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

Mellow May hasn’t prevented us starting our pruning season and with sixty thousand vines to prune its a race for our small team to finish before September budburst.
